That point was brought up Stelian (in fact by me *grin*) ... but in the end the group consensus was: "It's a small hurdle for someone to just go and submit their website to joind.in" ... Even if they don't want to use joind.in for accepting feedback on the talks.
And it reduces the workload on php.net staff. And it helps promote another awesome open source program, ie joind.in sooo. I got convinced and others did as well. The benefit of us moving to this system is great. And we only need, if someone asks us to "please add my conference", is gently direct them to self-serve by adding themself to joind.in, and they will instantly appear. That's actually a better solution, than in the past where we've had people struggling to get conferences posted long periods of time. :) Thanks, Eli On 2/26/15 9:34 AM, Stelian Mocanita wrote: > Eli, > > We still need to support people that are not on joind.in > <http://joind.in> related, don't we? > > If i missed that part, please forgive me since it was not intentional. > > Stelian > -- | Eli White | http://eliw.com/ | Twitter: EliW |
