Wade. I tried finding the mysql.ini. I found it in the c:\windows directory. Which is where I suppose winmysql or the mysql server instance configuration wizard put it. I copied it to C:\mysql.
Still when I run mysqlcc I get the same and click connnect I get the same error. Might it have something to do with the ZoneAlarm firewall. This is getting frustrating.
