I don't fully understand the scope of this problem, and I suspect there are others, on the list, "listening in" on the conversation who are in the same boat, and I hope someone can explain:

1) Why don't we fix get_browser() ? If his file truly does conform to the "Microsoft Spec", then it really IS our fault.. (I did say "if").

2) He's obviously not very willing to help us, because he's perceived hostility from us. Understandable. So, why are we depending on him? Is there a reason we're not maintaining out own browcap.ini ?
