For Galera, ONLY use percona xtradb cluster
Mariadb cluster is a disaster, it lags with old unpactched code, and has
multiple critical bugs.
For stand alone mysql, you wont get better and more stable than mariadb

Definitely MariaDB is Redhat is switching to that anyway. Will be setting up
Piler again soon so will be interesting to see how the performance is against
our Galera cluster.

Nice guide..
Used yours and fixed it up a little (sed for replacements, cat for creating
configs).
From experience... ONLY use MariaDB for standalone MySQL, the default MySQL
sucks.
Location of the new guide, based on yours ;-P
