not that easy, as it's the first time I get into mysql C calls.
would you give some clues as to how to change mysql.c or import.c or 
pilerimport.c to debug some stuff?

I didn't change much code but few lines not about mysql.

Looks like the error is caused by some wrong arguments in the prepared
statements.
yes, that's my bet as well. I'd double check the sql stuff, and add some
loggging
to understand which query generates such an error.
