I actually like jpilot a lot -- I've been using it for a couple of
months now. It seems like a pretty faithful translation of the Palm
interface to the desktop, which is what I want. The only part I don't
care much for is the installer interface; popping up the window from
the file button seems odd. I'd generally like the installer to be a
fifth button.... I'd also like it to remember from session to session
which directory I install from.
In principle, I like the idea of seamless integration with Gnome
applications (so gnomecal with the calendar, gnomecard with the
address book -- and with my cell phone -- etc). But my one experience
with gnome-pilot was pretty grim, and I don't get the impression that
it's gotten much better; the result is I don't use those Gnome
applications.
