Have you contributed any potential fixes, code, or UI enhancemnets
to Judd, so he can work on improving it? I have ideas as well, but it
works for me, and I continue to use it when I can.

Please help us out, even if it includes mock-up screenshots of
what you think it should look like. I've got my own app I whipped up long
ago in Perl::Tk to model the (admittedly 2 years ago) Palm Desktop. You
can see it here:

        http://palm.gnu-designs.com/xdesk/

And the web-based version I started cooking up here:

        http://www.gnu-designs.com/xpalm/index.html

Sure, it could look better, and I could spend more time on it, but
"More Important Things(tm)" have taken the forefront.

        How would you improve it?

Here's some of my wish-list ideas for JPilot:

        1. A toggle/checkbox in the Preferences that will allow backups
           during a sync.

        2. LDAP integration

        3. Clean up the status bar, and give it a progress bar (like gimp
when it loads the plugins) or one like gnumeric/gnucash at the
           bottom.

        4. A toggle in preferences which allows the use of gpilotd or
pilot-link directly (must be built with --enable-oaf)

        5. Selecting an already-deleted record should change the 'Delete'
           button to 'Undelete'.

        6. Applying changes to a record should not reset the clist and put
you back at the top. It should keep you at the record you're
           at.

        7. Numbering the records in the clist shown in Memos and Todos.

KPilot is quite immature. I would rather use PilotManager than
KPilot, and PilotManager IMHO has much more conduit capabilities than
KPilot at last peek.
