I agree. There are many excellent Palm programming books but this is the
best. I learned a lot from it. It has many mistakes [at least one serious one
- see below] but I think this is simply unavoidable. I recommend it highly. I
also recommend at least 3 other books but I forgot their titles and

I found one essential error. I don't blame you for it since even Palm made
the same mistake in their documentation. Look at item #1 on page 678. In
addition to sysAppLaunchCmdNormalLaunch, you should also uncomment
sysAppLaunchCmdGoTo.
