> If you're going to acknowledge the trademark, then:

It's amazing what nutrients and a good walk in the fresh air can give
you in the California fog.

After getting back from lunch, I've come up with some thoughts. Since
pilot-link is not limited to "Palm[tm] handheld devices", we should not
restrict it as such. It works for Handspring, Handera, Sony, Qualcomm, and
other PDAs as well. Where PalmOS(r) is referenced, we should indicate that,
but the rest of the references in this regard should probably remain the same
'your Palm device' or say something to the effect of 'your PalmOS(r)
compatible handheld/device'.

        Perhaps if we just disclaim:

"Palm[tm] is a registered trademark of Palm, Inc.
and where 'Palm' appears, it is in reference to the
function of the PalmOS-compatible device, not the
                 company or trademark in question"

Or perhaps we leave it the way it is, but make the verbage consistant
(Hotsync vs. HotSync).

        Ideas?

/d
