New Message on Pituitary Chat prolactinoma and periods Reply   Recommend Message 3 in Discussion From: keribug I didn't have a period for over a year, took the parlodel for 2 months and had the worst one of my life.  I thought i was hemmoraging!!  It went really heavy for over 7 days.....That is one reason I went off of the med.....every month was like that.  Thought I was going to have to wear depends to control it!!!  My doctor said that was normal because as my prolactin went down my estrogen would rise...Didn't seem normal to me.   I am seeing a different doctor though in March...(OHSU-Dr. Ludlam)  I was wondering if I was the only one who bled like that??????
