After reading of the  responses posted on the Prolactinoma and period , I just had to send a response.  Since I was diagnosised in 1999,  my period has been major concern and  the reason that I contiue to tolerate and take my medicine.  Since I have been on the medication my period has done some strange things.  I have also went throught the taking the medications for months and still no period and then when it finally came on which was about  4 maybe five months later, I bleeding so bad I had to go to the doctor just to get it to stop.  I, too ,wore  depends to work for several weeks. Lets not talk about the pain it was out of this world.  But then everything just managed to level out and I just recent had a very normal period.  I think that the symptoms vary for each individual depending on your body.  One thing that I can say for sure is that I look forward to seeing my period, because I am optimistic that this will only bring good things in the future( Babies).
