Question Regarding Weight & Size of Tumor

Your prolactin is mildly elevated, and it is true that hyperprolactinemia can cause weight gain. What other hormone excesses/deficiencies do you have and what other testing did your doctor do? It is in the literature that the bigger the prolactinoma, the higher the prolactin levels. You could have other hormone imbalances. Did your doctor check your other hormones as well? There is alot of information about pituitary tumors and headaches and it doesn't have to be a large tumor for the pituitary tumor to be behind the headaches. Minnie |
