Hi Cat and Gogyween1,

Boy, Cat, I hope your weight issues are the exception and not the rule with us pit tumor sufferers.

I've gained about 40 lbs over my normal weight since my bad hypopit symptoms have become much worse over several years.  I hope I don't go higher.  I can't stand this extra pounds.  I feel like I'm following myself, ya know what I mean?

Gogyween, and all other tubbies, have you tried L-Carnitine?  I buy it at the health food store.

My Holistic doctor suggested it.  It helps the body burn up the stored fat before it goes to the new food intake.  And it is suppose to speed up the metabolism just a bit, too, by providing energy to the muscles.

I'm not sure just how much help it has been when I diet & excercise more but I do have much better results when I use it.

I lost 10 lbs before Christmas.  I tried not to eat yummy treats at Christmas but . . .  Now I'm back the same weight as before the holidays.  Ugh.

If you try this, let us all know if it was a help to you.

May God heal and bless all us pit tumor sufferers a.s.a.p.!

Pam
