Growth Hormone for Short Children

<HTML>I think it's ridiculous to give GH shots to kids who are "short", for a young teenager to get breast implants, or nose jobs etc for cosmetic purposes.  You haven't stopped growing yet!!!!  Many a child is very short for a long time then suddenly has a growth spurt.  What if you give that child hormones to make them "normal" and THEN they have a growth spurt?  Are you going to file down their bones to make them "normal" again?!  I think it's just plain crazy to be messing with any child's base physicallity (is that a word?) solely for cosmetic purposes.  Just have patience, all kinds of growth can happen.  And maybe, if they don't grow, they will develop the self esteem to still feel worthwhile no matter their height.  If, once that child is an adult and has stopped growing/maturing and still feels a need to change something, then they can make that decision.
