my daughter has pituitary cyst/tumor and also has a shunt for hydrocephalus. i have a book called "sammi's book of sickness".i keep a copy of all test results, surgery notes, discharge instructions, referrals, insurance stuff. i also have a copy of all her mri's, ct scans and xrays. it's always a good idea. i take it with me to all drs visits and er visits and even when she's an inpatient. drs from other depts have gotten good info from it and even the nurses have used it during drs office visits. it's hard to keep everything straight. ellen, m/o samantha 11 years old...dx with meningitis and pitiutiary tumor/cyst in march 2003, shunt put in dec 2003 and lesion is getting bigger, next mri is 2-25-04 |
