New Message on Pituitary Chat a question about stress Reply   Reply to Sender   Recommend Message 1 in Discussion From: Noa I understand that in primary adrenal insufficiency (where it's caused by a problem with the adrenals) adrenal crisis is possible.  What I'm not sure about is whether it can happen with secondary (pituitary) AI.  Does anyone with low cortisol have a horrible stress response where you have some sort of adrenal crisis and need extra steroids?  If so, what kind of symptoms do you get?  I hope you understand what I'm trying to find out.  Thank you very much for your help.
