Hope nobody minds me joining in this conversation so late. Anyway I was really surprised to to find out that the size of the pituitary gland is only 0.3 cm, particuarly as the size of my tumour was 2.5 cm. I did have some visual tests done and they seemed fine, so maybe I should't be too worried. I think next time I go to see my endo I will discuss this with him, but im hoping that it will have shrunk by then, particuraly as I am on two Dostinex a week. I would be really interested to find the average size of pituitary tumours, I know it varies with people, so I wouldnt be able to get some kind of average, but to hear of some would be great, maybe even reassuring. Also my prolactin levels were initially 36.000 and thankfully now down to 5.000, does this sound similar to anyone?
