I've only been hypopit for 3 years due to a large Pituitary tumor.  I can't imagine how difficult it would have been to grow up this way.  My hat is off to you - Hang in there!

But, in some sense, we are all very lucky to have this condition now.  The fact is that they DO HAVE all of the hormone supplements that can help us lead a somewhat normal life.  I am 51 years old and supplementing all hormones - for me the Growth Hormaone made the biggest difference.  It was a very gradual change over 2 years, but I am a different man with it than I was without it.  I haven't felt this good in 10 years.  The Androgel (testerosterone) make sexual function virtually normal.

Most regular folks cannot identify with this illness.  If you're lucky you will find a mate who can be sympathetic and understanding and your life can be relatively normal.  I think the best lesson I have learned from this disease is to appreciate life to the fullest and enjoy as much of it as I can.

And, if we're lucky, we will live just as long as everyone else but have gotten alot more out of it.

Best of Luck

Barry
