Hello Scott!
What a great story! No matter what our "health issue" we all have to view it with "optimism" and "hope" and NOT GIVE UP as your message says!!!
My dear girlfriend Anne is an "inspiration" to me and because of what she did has also helped me persevere!!! Over ten years ago at the age of her late 30's she was diagnosed with one of the last stages of breast cancer and given only a few months to live. Well she was DETERMINED and she researched, started chat groups, reached out and even got involved with testifying before our head officials that can help change funding for more research, etc. and has helped change the programs today about breast cancer awareness and education. She unfortunately had to have a total mastomectomy but has been cancer free for over 10 years because of treatments she tried that were being tried, etc. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so "proud" of her, her perseverance, her actions, and to be her friend! I am so honored to be her friend since she is such a wonderful human being. I am DETERMINED too that my life can be improved as others can, if we all persevere and try to help one another.
Thank you so much for sharing your story and being another "inspiration" to help others to have that "optimism"!!!
All the very best, Marty
