New Message on Pituitary Chat Questions (mostly female related) Reply   Recommend Message 5 in Discussion From: BigAppleChick I recently went to my gyno. and he said that my pituitary tumour cause me to not release eggs.   So my periods are when my uterus eventually has to shed the lining and therefore they are severely heavy and unpleasant.   His only suggestion was to go on birth control but said to me that sometimes birth control side effects are no sex drive and moodiness and I already have that thanks to the tumour - don't want more!
