Jelle,
I had testosterone and estrogen implants for several years (beginning in my
late 30's). At the time this was a new thing. I went to a French Fertility
Specialist in Augusta, Georgia. Women came there from all over for the
implants. I felt great after getting them. I had them every 6 months.
He numbed my rear with zylacaine (sp.) made a hole with a round razor
instrument (looked kind of like an apple corer) and dropped the pellets in.
They dissolved over time. I can't remember but I think he used a butterfly
patch afterwards instead of stitches.
I quit going after my pituitary tumor.
