jguy -  daryl gives some good advice. he and i are in the same boat. strange. my tumor is non harmone producing (hypo) and i took synthroid to. now im on levoxyl. be shure and take the notes when u see the docs. make up a list of questions u have.
IMPORTANT: make shure u get a good "hands on " endo. some of em out there are not worth a crap. if possible try and find one that has his own in-house lab. mine does. they can do all the tests right there on the spot. SURGEON: same here. NO AMATEURS!!!!! get one experienced it pit tumors only. ive had 2 operations. one in 85. but it grew back. so i had another one in 99. BE AWARE: these tumors can grow back. you'll get through this ok. but like daryl said u wont be the same guy u were before. my first surgery scared the crap outta me. but hey....im still here. luck.....gary
