Thank you for everyones replies. I was a bit nervous that the dizziness was maybe due to something else. It's becoem worse lately & my concentration really suffers. I'm going to call the hospital tomorrow to see if they received my MRI yet (I sent it out on Friday) I'll post back here when I find out when the surgery is supposed to take place if at all. Would be nice to just take pills & shrink the tumor, but Dunno if that's possible. Dr. Swearingen in Mass General said He'd take a look & see what course needs to be taken. One more quick question: People with acromegaly supposedly have higher risk of heart problems ? Shouldn't my endo have ordered a heart test or xray by now? I also get pains in my kidney area when I take certain drugs- predinisone will do that & I started taking DHEA natural suppliments because I'm low in that too, but I had to stop because the pain felt like someone punched me in the kidneys- the pain subsided after about a week. Could this maybe be caused by enlargement of kidneys? I know it's hard to tell, but maybe someone has these symptoms too? |
