Hi Judy,
Hang in there sweetie you can do it. I have had a reacuring tumor. In fact I am recovering right now from my second surgery. It was Nov 1 2004. My 1st was Sept of 2000. First surgery was transphanodial second was a craniotomy and I will be doing radiation sometime in the future. I too had a rough recovery the first time  had ID and was on DDAVP for almost a year.It finally leveled out and I stopped the medication. I don't want to be negative just honest, the second has been the hardest thing I have ever had to do in my life. Not that it was all that painful, it really wasn't. But I was in the hospital for 2 weeks I ran into a few complications. That was very hard being away from my family (my kids) then when I came home I was totally dependent on others for several weeks. It was very humbling. But most of all it was emotionally hard. Something that I was not prepared for and I can't really explain. You just know it when it happens. I have lost most of the vision in my right eye due to the second tumor and am now told I will soon go blind in that eye. That really scares me. And my eye and eye brow droops because I had a stroke in that eye a month after surgery. And I am terrified of radiation.....BUT I am alive and so are you!!!! We ccan get thru this ...one day at a time.Knowing that there are others here  for you really can help! Lean on me! And the others here! Hope all is going well for you.
