Hi all! I just had transsphennoidal surgery to remove my nonsecreting macroadenoma Jan. 10th. THings went great! I just got my pathology report back and I am confused. It states that the tumor tested positive for GH and Prolactin secreting adenoma. It also states that it is "highly suggestive of an acidophillic stem cell adenoma". Does anyone know anything about this? I am clueless. Does this have any possibility of being Acromegaly. Any info at all regarding this woould be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
