Which doctor at mass general? I am probably being referred there for a "surgical second opinion" Just wondering if you already have the name for a surgeon that is good there.....maybe i can be referred to the same one if he is good.
Mine is causing Cushing's disease, this is my second time with symptoms and this would be my second pituitary surgery the problem is that the tumor has not been showing up on MRI's, I had a petrosal sinus sampling done which suggested the tumor was on the left side but no indication yet as to go ahead and operate or still keep on waiting some more (waited with symptoms since the start of 2003 this second time around already! and they are not getting any better....)
And yes, I was told not to blow my nose for at least a month. My nose did hurt for quite some time after...as well as my top front teeth! For me they went through the mouth and nose the first time.
