The Doc I am seeing is Brooke Swearingen. I haven't met with him yet, so can't really say what he's like. The few times I spoke with him He was 'rushed' as usual, so i didn't get to ask some ofd the questions that I wanted to. He did answer some of my questions through email before I really started looking into Mass General though- but then kinda inferred that if I wanted to know more to call his secretary and set up an apointment- He never did answer the second email's questions though. I don't know where Swearingen stands as far as top doctors- I've read that he is recommended. He may very well be thorough after I meet with him (although, in my experience with being on Medicare, I find Doctors don't give the attention that they do for insured peeps- He kinda tried to pawn me off on some surgeon in N.Y- I mean he wasn't insistent, but I felt like I almost had to talk him into doing the surgery- maybe I'm just reading too much into it though- others have said He's highly recommended) |
