He does the endonasal approach.   There is also Dr. Delashaw at OHSU.   There are also some very, very, talented pituitary neurosurgeons in California - today, many do the endonasal approach.   Today, Dr. Black is the chair of neurosurgery at Cedar's Sinai. He is a renowned neurosurgeon.   Point is, there are many options today. A thousand pituitary tumor removals has only been reached by a handful of pituitary neurosurgeons, but you should be in excellent hands if you seek the counsel of a surgeon who averages around 50 a year.   Good luck!
