Wow! things change in 5 years!

Dr. Mayberg (pituitary neurosurgeon) also has moved from Cleaveland Clinic to Sweedish hospital in Washington. He does the endonasal approach.

There is also Dr. Delashaw at OHSU.

There are also some very, very, talented pituitary neurosurgeons in California - today, many do the endonasal approach.

Today, Dr. Black is the chair of neurosurgery at Cedar's Sinai. He is a renowned neurosurgeon.

Point is, there are many options today. A thousand pituitary tumor removals has only been reached by a handful of pituitary neurosurgeons, but you should be in excellent hands if you seek the counsel of a surgeon who averages around 50 a year.

Good luck!
