Wow  I was so surprised to here you say that about dr. swearingen.......I had surgery a year ago with him and thought he was fantastic........I had many questions after surgery,such as,smell and taste,so i called his office and he called me right back.....I found him to be direct and to the point.He answered all my questions(even the ones that sounded kind of silly).He has a straight forward type of personality and thats ok by me,because he is a gifted surgeon and thats why i chose him in the first place............I had a few questions for my endo and i needed some advice about further treatment ,so i called dr.swearingen ............ he took the time to review my mri and said he would be more than glad to help me in the future...........I hope your surgery went well and your recovery is well on its way............its ok to ask questions even if they seem silly.( i do) lol...........its all about you remember!!!!!!!!!!!!  take care and god bless
