Hi LoSNaz, Thanks for the reply and making me feel a bit better about another surgery. I will for sure have the GK after because it wasn't done after the first surgery. The docs said they got it all, so they felt it wasn't necessary. Well, it grew back to almost the same size less than four years later. I was told that it will keep growing back if radiation isn't done to totally stop it from regrowing. I remember reading a post from you that mentioned the endonasal way of doing the surgery with less recovery and no packing and such. I mentioned that to my neurosurgeon, and he said you have to have enough space in your nostrils to go through, and also I would have to discuss it with the new ENT doc that will be assisting in the surgery. So how much work did you miss. My first surgery had me recovering for about six weeks including a six day hospital stay. I really didn't want a second surgery because of that. I don't hate hospitals, but don't like being there that long. Thanks again and I hope you have a wonderful Easter. Judy |
