Holy cow- If you're getting double vision, and the company won't refere you- or whatever- I'd threaten lawsuit- this is serious & they are messing around with your health because of symantics- Yes- maybe go through an opthomologist whjo might be more likely to throw up the red flag & then have him chaSTISE those that wouldn't take your case seriosu. Nothing worse than needing care- knowing what the problem is, and having to fight with compasnies. I dunno- I think I'd tell who ever is refusing you that if you lose your sight- you will sue- might get their attention. Sorry you're going through all this- I know it can be real frustrating- There's some discrepencies about what type of tumor I have & I can see two sides taking the stand that it definatelyt is acromegaly, even though they haven't done extensivve testing & I see the other side saying it's prolactinoima after having done the smears from the biopsy- I see the one side puffing up & standing by their first diagnosis- After 15 years of feeling aweful- I just want a correct diagnossis & so far I'm running into stubborness Dunno why Docs get so prideful- it's like if the tumor is found out to be a prolactinoma, then they would have to eat crow- Well SO WHAT? it's my life they're getting all defensive about- Sorry for rambling- I just get so tired of pride in the profession- I've been diagnosed 3 times with the wrong diseases & have paid heavy prices for it- I'm noew stuck with an ostomy bewcause they misdiagnosed my Crohn's disease- Nowm, there is some question about just wehat My pit tumor was- anyways- Good luck |
