Yeah sort of. I have general cancer markers
(pancreastatin and pancreatic polypeptide) Doc doesnt
really even know what they do. Just that they are
elevated in NET patients. Octreotide scan was
negative. The sandostatin takes care of most of the
symptoms that go along with the NET. I feel about 50%
better since starting it. Doc calls it endocrinopathy
(doc speak for something is wrong with your endocrine
system but we don't know what). No one seems worried
about the microadenoma, muscles enzymes, bone loss
etc. I got my pcp to re-test all the thyroid and
cortisol. Those have been messed up before. Seems
like I just can't find someone that will dig and find
out WHAT is the problem. I have had the "IBS, your
crazy, nothing wrong with you, hmmm don't know why you
TMJ dissolved? Hmmm dont know why your deaf now in
one ear, dont know why you have this strange brown
discoloration on your neck.

I'm about to give up........jeeeeez!
