I could find nothing that supported tht hrt could affect TSH levels, but could find plenty if the thyroid was not stabilized, it would affect everything else. That is why it is typically the first to be regulated. Many doctors do not rely on TSH levels in patients who have pituitary disease, but focus on T4 and T3 and the uptake values, as many of us pit patients have central thyroid misregulation (TSH problems caused by pituitary disease).
