Also, from what I understsand, people with cushings disease can have normal cortisol results on their test for many years but still be sick as a dog. I guess it's ery hard to diagnose & Docs simply look at the test results and conclude that the because they show up normal, then somethinmg else must be wrong- I'm not saying I have cushings, but whatever is wrong- prednisone almost completely eliminates the symptoms I am having & I feel pretty good- not 100% better, but much better than I am feeling now.
