Hi, Yes, I was screened for this and apparently all was fine. I was kind of a wierd anomaly I guess. All the labs came back well within normal range (ALL! guess this is strange) with the exception of the IGF. I was told this was unusual given the size of the tumor. My symptoms were mostly changes in my appearance..and the headaches, bad headaches (never would have thought a tumor! stress, ok- tumor- no WAY!). Actually I think I ignored some of the other symptoms like some weight gain (hey, not eating right?), minor sweating (some extra weight, weather?), slightly elevated BP (type A & never noticed working 16 hr days) i guess I just continued on until I began running (initially to lose weight) and then train for a race I went to get MD clearance. I know I am lucky some people are debilitated by this, by where the tumor grows(?) and how their body responds. I feel lucky. I remember the endo being shocked that I still had my period regulary and on time. I jokingly said that had I Iost my period I would have been into see someone LONG before this, but daily headches and swellling feet didn't give me pause!? ...ridiculous. In any case, I hope the NA goes away- that would be nice. I had a few tags and they have been removed- just trying to get everything in order. I am really anxious to get my tests done and see my levels. I suppose if they are done on sight t the 6 week you don't get the results on your visit- thats a bit disappointing. Is it a phone follow-up then? ok I strayed
Thanks for the info
