Thanks for the post. I ceratinly agree with all this, I know I am type A and want things to 'move right along please', but I also realize everything has a pace and place. The comment of the quick, quick diagnosis, surgery and ...then what? is right on for me. I have enjoyed the downtime- a little bittersweet, as I gave up a great career offer (a position I truly, truly wanted) in order to get myself in order- but as my very wise (and far too seldom listened to) Mother pointed out - what is the point if you dont have your health. I am definitley moving again- wow, that was a challenge to get going! I was running several miles and biking at least 20mi a day- I can run the miles, but the biking is not possible yet. I am not paitent with myself either. The neurosurgeon had told me I would be ready to train in 2 weeks- I am afraid I came no where near that at all. I am not sure what I could have done differently, maybe I didn't/haven't pushed myself enough. Along this threas which has deviated I know- I have noticed some lightening- could be the salicylic acid reccomended or the resoloution of an underlying condition. I guess we'll see. Thanks again
