Hi All,
Just a question for my own information. I have had surgery and radiation ffor my pit tumor. I have been low on GH for quite some time but have not been started on replacement of it yet. A few months ago I was started on Synthroid for low thyroid. What I want to know is if anyone else has been dealing with severe muscle and joint pain? My new endo thought the muscle pain would go away when I started the Synthroid but it hasn't. I find it hard to sleep because if I lay on one side too long I wake up hurting so much so I keep turning all night long. Therefore, I don;t get much sleep or at lease restful sleep. I have lost weight with the thyroid meds so that much is great. I also have knee pain so bad that there are days I feel like I can't walk. I have never felt like this in all my life. I am 56 years old and have always been active but not since my pit problems started. Could this knee pain and muscle pain be from the pit problem or what? I told my old doctor at Johns Hopkins about it and he didn't seem surprised but I never got any answers about it. I moved a year ago and I am seeing new doctors now so it is like starting over all over again. Any help would be appreciated.
Regards, Diane
