You just need to keep on top of doctors to DO the tests....sometimes they turn you away after looking at just one result......and maybe if they had looked a little further than the text book...they would have found the problem to fix it!
 
That happened to me the first time, I had been complaining with symptoms for about four years before they took me seriously and did the needed tests. By then....I had a macroadenoma....if they had done more tests in the beggining when I started complaining, they probably would have fixed it when it was still a microadenoma and I would have had more chances of being cured. Instead....here I am the second time around with Cushing's disease, except now it's cyclic instead of regular (it comes and goes during "cycles" that can be of a day, a few days, weeks...even months....but the pattern is never predictable)
 
Good luck and keep us posted, it helps to talk to others and listen to opinions from others that are in the same situation or have gone through it before.
