Thankyou Hope and Andy for your messages. They certainly have given me hope for my son and it's so good to know that there can be light at the end of the tunnel. Andy, thankyou for the offer of help and I'll keep your addy in case I need to contact you. It's good to hear how others have been affected and what their lives are like now. Thinking back, I think that my son has had this illness taking hold of him for much longer than I first realised as some of the symptoms have been so slow that the've been with him "forever" Thank you all for your consideration and hope.
