Hi Chris,
thanks for your response to my post.  My son (Jon) is 20 years old and started suffering from various symptoms quite a long time ago but last August things came to a head when he became very, very depressed and had to finish work.  He has good days and bad days but the bad days got more and more frequent.
However when all the other symptoms became more obvious then our doctor decided to run some blood tests (instead of his depression treatment) and found there to be abnormal levels of potassium, sodium and cortisol.
We have now been to see the consultant and are now waiting for news of his hospital tests appointment (which is supposed to be very soon)
Thanks for your caring words, and yes it has been such a horrible time for us all.  (worse of course for Jon as he is the one who is suffering most!)
I hope that you and your son are o.k.
much love,
Heather.xx
