Hi Jen, Glad to hear that you are feeling a lil better. It sounds like your doctor is on the right track to balancing your hormones. I hope she prescribes growth hormone soon, as well. I know you will feel even better once you have growth hormone replacement. I don't know why she would wait to replace the GH since she knows it is low. Sometimes GH can be a battle to get because it is very expensive and some insurance companies balk on paying for it. I will include some links about GH and replacement and why it is needed. It sounds like you hava wonderful hairdresser, he sounds like a godsend! Your incision does not sound bad at all-it is nice that he kept it in the hairline. Glad you like your new haircut! I have not had DI, but there are many patients on here that had DI as a result of surgery. It is fairly common. I don't know what is recommended to drink, but gatorade restores your electrolytes and sodium. You may want to try sports drinks. I drink gatorade daily to increase my electrolytes because when they are low, I get very dizzy and weak. I hope you are feeling even better. Take care.
