Yeah the Endo's office called and his shot got in. I guess there was some worry about it being able to be delivered. Crisis averted. Mini crisis anyway. So we are taking things one day at a time now. Hi Jason's Mom. Yes I remember you. Sorry you had to go thru the whole surgery ordeal but it sounds like everything is going well.

Yes Bill had surgery to remove the 2 tiny 3mm tumors 4/21/04. This never settled his levels so they are assuming either they missed something or he has a wacky pit gland. They have done 3 or 4 (I forget) MRI's since the surgery and they have all come back clean. So for now we are trying the Sandostatin LAR and see how that goes for a couple of months. Now if I could just get him to remember to use his Androgel I would be okay. I have got him working out at a local fitness center 3-4 days aweek. He enjoys it and it gives him something to do since he is now on social security disability.

Oh funny story about getting his first shot I have to share...LOL. Men are so funny. Anyway...Bill's endo has one primary nurse that takes care of all his patients. She older than him (not old by any means) and very motherly. He was all set for her to give his shot. Well it turns out her daughter was having her wisdom teeth out on Fri and she wasn't there. So instead he gets this really cute little nurse who looked all of 21...maybe. I thought he was going to have a cow. He made more fuss over that than the shot itself. Gotta love those little moments.
