I had surgery (acromegaly) with Kassam  in Oct 2002.  I was in hospital for 8 days.  I developed a CSF leak.  I do remember having blood work every day for lytes, urine output and sp gravity etc..  When I left the hospital I felt great and have never had problems.  Still acro-free.  I hope everything turns out alright for you.
