Hi LoSNaz,

The link you've mentioned gets you to a free abstract -- to see the full article you have to either subscibe to the journal (horribly expensive) or pay a much smaller fee to see the full article.

I paid the smaller article fee because this was the only thing I could find that suggested a *treatment* for "apathy and pituitary disease" that I could take to my doctor for her review.

There's also interesting info in this PDES Newsletter:  http://www.pituitarydisorder.net/PDES%20Newsletter.pdf
The Newsletter describes a preliminary study called "Quality of Life in Patients with Pituitary Disease" done by researchers at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.

And...I haven't seen this yet myself, but there's a collection of scholarly articles on this subject available from Karger Publishers called Emotional Aspects of Pituitary Disease (ISBN 3805566646).  This link will get you to a .pdf of the introduction:  http://content.karger.com/ProdukteDB/produkte.asp?Aktion=ShowPDF&ProduktNr=223864&Ausgabe=225153&ArtikelNr=12270&filename=12270.pdf

Hope this helps!
