i couln't agree more. this is one of the most mis diagnosed diseases out there. because pit tumors cause a variety of symptoms docs all to often look elsewhere for the problem. some treat the symptoms and let the disease roll merely on. there should be an awareness in their profession of pit tumors. they just don't believe the endocrine is at fault and simply over look it. a simple blood test of harmone levels should sound the alarm. but dosent. pcp's are into a fast food style of practicing medicine. maybe some day they will have drive thru windows???? god forbid...........Gary |
