ThaNk you for the links- I'll check em out. It looks like maybe Copamine might be a better approach to treating the problems than trying to stabilize the seratonin levels- I've been trying to tell My Docs for years that something is wrong 'with my muscles' & everytime they simply dismiss it as 'depression' and stick me on antidepression meds which does help with sleeping quality, but does nothing to help the muscle pain/weakness. I've tried explaining that to them & they just shrug- Very frustrating. I think maybne I might be suffering from Fibromyalgia in addition to the Acromegally (Which supposedly has been cured with the operation), but Docs won't even persue a fibromyalgia link & instead just diagnose me as 'depressed' (I went through a bout of depression about 7 years ago & I know for a fact that what I'm experiencing now isn't depression- interestingly enough, I experienced the depression after being on antidepressents for 1/2 a year and then comming off them- go figure))
 
Oh well- thanks again, I think apathy is more appropriate a description of what might be going on rather than depression
