I believe that they do not give GH if you have residual tumor, I am not sure about the latest on that. GH injections are expensive but they are the only way to replace GH...sometimes you will see ads for oral GH replacement...that does not work and has been proven. If you have prescription coverage your GH will be covered. If you do not, many times you can get on a sliding scale for costs. Without GH I cannot think clearly and my as I start to do something I will get a sudden ache in whatever muscle group is being used...as if I had been straining that muscle group severely...but this ache is sudden and at the beginning of the task. It eventuallly will go away but it is very uncomfortable. Also if I go upstairs I am short of breath. The confusion was the worst, however. You can call me: 541-757-9663. Jean in Oregon
