Hello Kelli from Oz
Well it sounds like you found the right wizards....doctors.  That's the hardest part.
You have so many of the classic symptoms....and also for Hyperthyroidism.  Whenever there is an irregularity with the Pituitary, it is quite common to have a thyroid condition.
My prolactin level before surgery was quite low in comparison to yours.  But nevertheless these tumors are hard to see on a CAT Scan let alone an MRI.  But usually the determination is found in your hormone levels such as yours.
I was diagnosed in 1983, and Bromocriptine was the only drug.  But now they have Dostinex, which so many swear by.  Also back then they wouldn't operate unless the Prolactin level was greater then 100, and mine was.  One of the top neurosurgeons told me that if I took the medicine first it would change the tissues and make surgery harder and possibly impossible.  But I don't know if that is still true now with Dostinex.
Its not funny really, but of all the message boards that I have read, you are the first to mention the nausea.  After you start treatment or surgery and the little bugger shrinks, that should go away.
How is your vision?
Do be aware that you should have regular full body bone density scans.
