I too was just switched from Dostinex to Cabergoline. So far I like it better than the Dostinex. Within a month of starting it, I actually started losing a little of the weight I gained from the tumor, I wasn't that lucky with the Dostinex. (Started Dostinex 10/2005 and Cabergoline at the beginning of this year when it came out. Although I had finally adjusted to the Dostinex (first two months were pretty rough), the switch to the generic went smoothly, felt a little "off" for a couple days and then back to "normal", which is just being very tired the day after I take it. Good luck to everyone. It's nice to read these message boards and see there are others in the same boat out there. Friends look at me weird if I say I have this tumor. |
