Hi there. I'm 26 years old and discovered my pituitary tumour in Sept 05. Been on bromocriptine for 6 months. Prolactin went from 1155 down to 75 but now it's started rising again. Currently at 103.3, and MRI shows I still have a macro tumour even though it's gone from 18x14mm to 12x9mm.
My neurosurgeon says I may have to go for surgery because Dostinex, while more effective, may cause problems during pregnancy or my babies may have birth defects. I really want kids!
Has anybody else had a similar experience? Is Donstinex bad for those wanting to fall pregnant?
Please reply.
Thanks.
